Protect Polis Station Allied Stats

"Protect Polis Station" is a singleplayer tower defense game I developed during the summer of 2024. The Kerkuvath Empire has declared war on the Galactic Peace Organization (GPO), and as Head of Defense for Polis, a space station right on the border between the empire and GPO, you have suddenly found yourself with the hardest job in the galaxy: defending the space station for as long as possible before help arrives.

Below are statistics for all the defenses you can buy. You gain money passively, but also from research stations and destroying enemy ships. The game ends once Polis Station is destroyed.

Note how the Explosives Launcher and Bomber both deal splash damage. Splash damage is extremely powerful in the end game, as there are way more ships clumped together.

Furthermore, the Relay Station can be super powerful when placed next to lots of defensive towers and stations. All defenses within 0.5 AU get a 25% efficiency boost, meaning Missile Launchers, for example, shoot 1.25 shots per second instead of 1.

Glossary

Name
The name of the defense.
Type
The type of defense. Towers and stations can't move, but ships can move.
Cost (in millions)
How much it costs to build the defense, in millions.
HP
Health points. If this number hits 0, the defense is destroyed.
DPS
Damage per shot. A shot is a single bullet/missile that is fired from the defense.
SPS
Shots per second, aka the firing speed.
Damage Type
The type of damage dealt by each shot. Single means only one enemy is damaged. Line means the shot can go through enemies, thus damaging multiple enemies in a line. Splash means every enemy in a certain range is damaged. Pierce means the shot goes through any shields.
Range (in AU)
The maximum distance an enemy can be from the defense before it starts targeting it, in astronomical units. If an enemy is out of range, the defense can not attack it.
Special
The defense's special ability.
